An example of such a program can be found here, but this position can feel free to evolve as the coordinator sees fit.
Recruitment Ambassadors (3-4):
Love Region 2 and want to see us grow? We are gathering a team of new and more experienced faculty or staff members to work on recruiting new schools and programs to join our community. This is a new position but would consist of reaching out to faculty in unaffiliated (or formerly affiliated) schools in our Region, coming up with strategies to reach these schools, and advising/ creating recruitment materials for Region 2. These positions do not need to be involved with festival planning (but certainly could be).
Media Manager:
The Media Manager will work on the Region’s presence online– including website, social media, recruiting festival photographers, and other promotional materials. Innovative ideas for promotion are welcome!
New for 2024: Shadow a position!
Interested in seeing what a board member or program coordinator does before, during, and after the festival, but not sure you want to commit to taking on a role? You may be able to shadow a position that will become open in the future to see if it is right for you. A shadow position will be able to see all of the behind the scenes work that goes into creating a great experience for our region but will not have specific tasks to accomplish during that time.
